What exactly is Family North Star?
A guided weekend experience that helps couples and parents have meaningful conversations about what matters — and bring those conversations together into Your Family North Star, captured in a Family Book.
Who is it for?
Couples and parents who want to be more intentional about the family life they are building — whether or not they are navigating a transition.
Does our family need to have a problem?
No. The experience is about direction, not fixing dysfunction.
Do we need two full days?
It is designed around a weekend — roughly Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon — but much of that time is away from the screen: a coffee break, lunch, a walk together, dinner. Everything saves as you go, so you can pause and return whenever family life interrupts, and spread it out if that suits you better.
Do our children need to participate?
No. The conversations are written for the adults, and children don't need to sit through the weekend or fill in anything. Many families share what they chose with their children afterwards, in whatever way suits their age.
Can my partner and I do it together?
Yes. Invite your partner to your private family workspace. You each answer the prompts and can see each other's answers, so Your Family North Star reflects both of you. You can also begin alone.
What if we disagree?
That isn't necessarily a problem. Part of the value can be discovering where your assumptions differ before a major decision forces the conversation. Family North Star doesn't try to make everyone think the same way; it gives you structure to understand what each of you values and find the direction you genuinely share.
Is this couples counselling or family therapy?
No. Family North Star is designed to create reflection and conversation, not to resolve serious relationship conflict or replace professional support.
What role does AI play?
A small, optional one. AI-assisted reflections can summarise or mirror what you have written, and each one is labelled. They never decide your family's values or direction — those come from you. The weekend begins with your family, not with technology.
What do we receive at the end?
Your Family North Star — A Family Book, holding your guiding beliefs and values, strengths, a letter from your family's future, your shared vision, Family Headline and story. You have one year to create and update your Family North Star, with ongoing read access to your Family Book, and can print it at home.
Is €149 / US$169 a subscription?
No. It is a one-time purchase: €149 with VAT included where applicable, or US$169 with any applicable tax added at checkout.
Can I give this as a gift?
Yes. On the Gift page you choose the currency, enter the recipient's name and email, your name, an optional personal message and an optional date from which it can be redeemed. After payment you download a printable certificate with a private redemption link to give them. The price isn't shown on the certificate or redemption page.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes — the 60-Day Meaningful Value Guarantee. If you genuinely engage with the experience and, within 60 days, feel it hasn't created meaningful value in your family's shared clarity or conversations, contact us for a refund of the purchase price. For gifts, the 60 days begin when the recipient redeems the gift. This is in addition to any mandatory consumer rights.
What happens to our private family reflections?
Your answers belong to your private family workspace and are visible only to its members. We never sell your reflections or use them to train models ourselves. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
How do I redeem an access code or gift?
Go to the Redeem page and enter your code, or open the link from your certificate. If you are not signed in yet, you'll be guided to create an account first.
